Sapphire is EGEM’s expansion project built over the past 3 years to meet growing crypto demands. It operates as an integrated subchain with a decentralized exchange (DeX), featuring a 5-second block time and solo/dual PoW mining (blake2s).

It enables cryptographic entanglement (Cryptangle), letting assets from other blockchains interact with the EGEM Sapphire chain. EGEM addresses work across both networks.

Available in the Opal Mobile Wallet, users can transfer and trade cross-chain assets on the True DeX.
